It is comfortable to live in a dormitory because:
  • Dormitory is in the center of Klaipeda.
  • It is a 12-storey building, renovated, there is an elevator.
  • There are 6 living blocks and a kitchen on each floor.
  • The block has 2 rooms - double and triple, separate shower and toilet.
  • The room has 2 or 3 beds, a table, chairs, a wardrobe and a fride.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available.
  • There are separate rooms for study and leisure.
  • There is a laundry room with automatic washing machines and drayer machine.
  • There is a bicycle storage room.
  • The living rooms and sanitary facilities of the block are cleaned once a week.
  • Common areas are cleaned daily.

The lessee undertakes:   
  • The lessee must pay the rent for the current month no later than the 5th day of the current month;
  • To indemnify all losses incurred by LAJM/ Administrator due to violations, non-performance or improper performance of the Lessee or its guests provided for in this Agreement and the Rules. The Lessee must also indemnify third parties if it was caused through the fault of the Lessee or his guests;
 

If you want to book a dormitory before your arrival you must pay a deposit of 100€ and rent for one semester (rent for one month 110€).

Students experience

The Erasmus program in Klaipeda is exciting and good organized. When we all arrived in Lithuania our mentors helped us to find our dorm easily and they welcomed us very friendly.

All mentors keep us busy with different kind of activities. In addition, there are a couple of organised trips or events during weekends. Our dormitory is well located. Our University is in walking distance of the old town, so we also have a lot of shops around to buy food or whatever you need. The best thing is, we can reach the beach by bus within 10 minutes or by ferry (maybe 30 minutes by walking to the ferry). Furthermore, we have a park near our dormitory where we can climb in the trees. Or others like to have a run in this park which is beautiful and when you go a bit further you will find an unexpected huge and nice forest. Of course, Klaipeda has more opportunities for staying busy.

All in all, I had a lot of things to do during our studies.
